Joe Biden has been caught red-handed! On Wednesday, a photographer captured a cheat sheet that Biden had in front of him during a press conference with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.
It included the name of a journalist, Courtney Subramanian, and the topic of her question before she was even asked. Not only that, but the question that was asked was not the same as the one on the sheet, leading us to believe that the White House was trying to give Biden an unfair advantage over reporters.
This isn’t the first time that the White House has been caught trying to give Biden an unfair advantage. In fact, Jean-Pierre attempted to do something similar when she was asked about the cheat sheet. She tried to distract from the issue by talking about how the White House “do[es] these briefings everyday” and how “a lot of the questions that you all tell me, that’s how we brief him as well.”
But her response wasn’t enough to satisfy the reporters who were present. Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich asked, “why the president needed” the cheat sheet, and Daily Caller White House correspondent Diana Glebova asked about the process for picking the reporters scheduled to ask a question.
But it was Gray Television White House reporter Jon Decker who really exposed Jean-Pierre’s lies. Decker asked if it was Jean-Pierre’s contention that the question Subramanian asked was different from the one on the cheat sheet. But instead of answering his question, Jean-Pierre told him to wait his turn.
Clearly, Jean-Pierre and Biden don’t want to answer questions about their unethical behavior. But we won’t let them get away with it. We need to hold them accountable and make sure that future press conferences are fair and honest. We can’t let them cheat the American people out of the truth.
