The Orange County School Board recently became the center of a fiery political debate over parental rights. The board was voting to pass a policy requiring school staff to notify parents when their child identifies as transgendered.
However, members of the Revolutionary Communist Party made their presence known onstage and began to wildly interrupt the proceedings. Some of these members, who identified themselves as Michelle Xai and Lucha Bright of the Revolution Club in Los Angeles, verbally attacked the board and called for a revolution to overthrow this entire system. They spoke of overthrowing the U.S. Constitution in favor of a constitution that upholds the rights of the LGBT community, one set of loud demands among many raised by the communists.

The scene quickly became tense, as combatants from both sides began to shout amongst one another. Eventually, police joined the proceedings and requested that the communists step away from the podium. While this was happening, other individuals associated with the communists, wearing the same t-shirts, held up signs and chanted “Gay, straight, trans, queer, fight for the future, no fear!”. It’s unclear who these individuals were or what message their signs were conveying.
The board eventually passed the policy by a unanimous vote. However, some board members who didn’t support it had left the room in a show of protest. This policy was likely seen as a necessary step to protect vulnerable children from predatory elements both within and outside of the school system. It is abhorrent that some individuals think it is acceptable to disrupt a board meeting with their extreme political views.

Communism as an economic and political system has a long history of failing to deliver on any of its promises. It foments hatred and divisiveness among its citizens and forces people to give up their personal freedoms in return for a false sense of security. Furthermore, because it is a rigidly hierarchical system, it leaves no room for tolerance or open dialogue. It is this same kind of authoritarianism which we witnessed on display at this particular school board meeting. It is for these reasons that communism is so vehemently opposed by those who stand for freedom and justice everywhere.

Communists do not have a Voice here. They are Not Citizens, they subscribe to a different ideology than AMERICAN FREEDOM. Communism promotes Suffocation and Restriction, it bleeds the people dry while the hierarchy lives high on your hog. They come and illicit abhorrent behaviors while they are sticking their proboscis in us .. BTW: same here as a Mosquito: when the female Mosquitos drink our blood to grow their eggs, they can leave behind viruses and parasites that cause diseases like West Nile, malaria, dengue and Zika.
