I am so sick of hearing people claim that the child can detransition if they realize later that they have made a mistake. It’s a lie. You cannot mutilate a young child’s body and expect them to just bounce back to their old selves. They have essentially altered the body and chemistry at a venerable and critical time.
Luka Hein’s story serves as yet another heartbreaking reminder of the risks associated with the “trans movement.” Hein underwent a double mastectomy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center at just 16 years old, based on the recommendation of an “affirming” therapist. But a closer look reveals that the decision may have been unethical, based on false information and driven by a “tunnel vision” mentality.
According to the complaint filed in the case, Hein was purposefully groomed by an older man online. As a result, she began considering sex-change surgery as a possible solution and started researching gender dysphoria online.
It’s befuddling how quickly things escalated for Hein after that. She quickly was pushed down the path of major, irreversible surgery after one hour-long therapy appointment, wherein she was diagnosed with Gender Identity Disorder. It is worth noting that her therapist, Megan Smith-Sallans, wrote in her notes “suicide risk Not Evident” for Hein. Unfortunately, Hein’s parents were misled by medical professionals, who assured them that the high-risk surgery was necessary to prevent Hein from taking her own life.
But there’s something else worth noting here – the doctors at the University of Nebraska Medical Center never even considered other factors that could have explained Hein’s angst. It seems that medical professionals operating on a “gender affirming” model showed “tunnel vision,” automatically assuming that Hein’s feelings were due to gender dysphoria rather than the normal distress associated with a parental divorce and being groomed by an older man online.
This case also serves as a reminder that minors should never feel pushed to transition genders. As Soren Aldaco says, “My story should be a warning. If transitioning can be rushed and badly managed, it can have horrible long-term consequences.”

The truth is that young people should never feel forced to transition genders, but rather have access to holistic help that looks at all of the factors impacting their mental health. The risks of major surgicial interventions must be weighed against the life-long consequences. Hein’s story stands to remind us all that minor’s need protections when it comes to making life-altering decisions like these.
I am not a fan of litigious attorneys however this just screams for action against all the professionals involved in the disastrous consequences bestowed on a juvenile and her parents. These greedy practitioners are looking down the road at not only the initial cost but the ongoing treatments. Millions of dollars awarded in lawsuits would cause many of these asshats to backup and rethink the consequences of pushing unnecessary treatments that are not reversible on young people.
These are the kinds of people on the left. Destroy our children for life and our country. The ghouls who perform these surgeries on children should be incarcerated and never allowed to practice medicine again. They will do anything for a buck and are no better than abortionists. Pure evil!
