Joe Biden’s careless disregard for accountability and responsibility was on full display during his press conference regarding the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. While the country was reeling from the catastrophic event, Biden shamelessly announced that federal taxpayer money would be used to rebuild the bridge. This blatant misuse of taxpayer funds is just another example of Biden’s reckless spending habits that have been on display since he took office.
Go figure… What does he know about accountability?
Despite the fact that a container vessel owned by Grace Ocean, a Singapore company, and chartered by the shipping giant Maersk was responsible for the bridge collapse, Biden refused to hold them accountable. Instead, he announced that he will use taxpayer money to rebuild the bridge and called on Congress to support his effort. This is a clear indication that he is more concerned with appeasing his political allies than pursuing justice. It’s no surprise that he didn’t mention holding the corporations responsible, as it would have contradicted his own statement of expecting Congress to support him.
It’s outrageous that Biden’s foremost concern is not seeking justice for the victims of this tragedy, but rather using it as an opportunity to push for more government spending. He even went on to say that the federal government will pay for the entire cost of reconstructing the bridge, which is estimated to cost around $735 million in today’s dollars. This exorbitant amount could go towards more pressing issues within the country, but instead, Biden is more than willing to frivolously spend it on repairing a bridge that should have been maintained properly by the companies responsible.
Biden’s lack of accountability and his eagerness to use taxpayer money for personal gain is simply unacceptable. It’s evident that he is more concerned with his own political agenda than the well-being of American citizens. While the people of Baltimore are struggling to recover from this disaster, Biden is more focused on pushing his own interests and dismissing the fact that the shipping companies are responsible for the bridge collapse.
So in the space of 24hrs they’ve decided that the bridge was asking for it? Why won’t we expect the company (their insurance) to at least kick in some of the cost?

Furthermore, the fact that Biden did not even mention holding the corporations accountable for their actions is concerning. This reflects his lack of leadership and his inability to make tough decisions. It’s clear that he is willing to let large corporations get away with causing significant damage to public property, as long as it doesn’t affect his own image or political agenda.
The Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse is a prime example of Biden’s reckless leadership and lack of accountability. Instead of standing up for the victims and seeking justice from the responsible corporations, Biden is more than happy to throw taxpayer money at the problem and hope it goes away. This is not the type of leadership that Americans need or deserve. It’s time for Biden to prioritize the well-being of the American people and hold corporations accountable for their actions, rather than using their negligence as an opportunity for political gain.

A convenient video showing the ship cutting power before getting close to the bridge and even more amazing power restored after hitting the bridge and didn’t the company working on the bridge recommend that the bridge needed to be replaced not repaired…we no longer have a government for the people by the people and government’s main job is protecting Americans and its borders..so I say ..what government ..and what use is congress since Biden decided all this on his own ..I think executive action has given us a King (Biden ) and a queen (Obama)…
If Mr. Biden wants the taxpayers to pay for a new bridge, maybe he can donate the funds from the millions that he has weaseled from various countries and individuals. Of course, he has to cover up for someone else’s mistakes, because he only knows how to use coverup to benefit himself.
