Libs SHOCKED: Trump Achieves Unprecedented Success At Border- First Hand Look

CBS News correspondent Camilo Montoya-Galvez recently embarked on a trip to the U.S.-Mexico border but reported a surprising observation: no individuals attempting to cross the border, neither undocumented immigrants nor asylum seekers. “Imagine that,” he remarked, highlighting the unexpected scene. In a remarkable turnaround over the span of just a few weeks, President Trump has significantly altered the dynamics at our southern border, effectively sealing it off. This achievement comes as a sharp contrast to the previous administration’s border policies.

During an appearance on CBS Mornings, Montoya-Galvez explained, “Typically, when you go to the border, you will see groups of people who are trying to cross into the US, but we did not see a single migrant.” He emphasized this point by describing the scene captured by their cameras: a heavily fortified border just steps away from Mexico. Accompanying hosts on the show seemed somewhat disheartened by this development, perhaps a testament to the narrative often pushed by liberal media outlets.

Factors contributing to this situation were reiterated by a border patrol agent, who told CBS, “Activity is very slow. There are multiple factors to why we have seen a significant drop in apprehensions recently. One of them of course is consequences.” This underscores the effectiveness of the policies implemented by the current administration, which seem to act as a deterrent.

As noted by the Gateway Pundit, the dramatic decrease in border encounters is evident. For instance, February saw an all-time low with just over 8,000 encounters. This sharp decline illustrates how illegal aliens are being deterred from attempting to cross into the United States, thanks to the robust measures led by President Trump.

In contrast, under the leadership of Border Czar Kamala Harris in the previous administration, there was what some described as the largest invasion of the United States in history. Despite Harris’s appeals to illegal immigrants to “don’t come,” the influx continued unmitigated. The difference in border encounters between now and the prior year is stark, with a 94% reduction—from 140,641 encounters to just over 8,000.

President Trump’s first term similarly marked a historic low in the number of undocumented immigrants entering the country. In 2017, only 310,000 crossed the border, which is a remarkable contrast to the more than 300,000 crossings reported in December 2023 alone. This stark difference serves as a testament to the effectiveness and swift action taken by President Trump’s administration in safeguarding the border.

In an era where misleading narratives often proliferate, it is crucial to recognize the indisputable progress being made under President Trump’s leadership in ensuring national security and border integrity.
