The University of Washington (UW) descended into chaos Monday night as an Antifa-led mob stormed an engineering building, lit fires, and called for violence against law enforcement. While liberal media outlets downplay such lawlessness, the reality was captured in shocking footage: black-clad agitators screaming, “Death to the police! Abolish the police!” and declaring, “Every cop death is a victory for the resistance.” These are not peaceful protesters—they are domestic terrorists exploiting the Gaza conflict to justify anarchy.
Violence, Vandalism, and Lawlessness
Protesters barricaded themselves inside the building, blocking entrances with chairs and their bodies while proudly displaying a Palestinian flag. Outside, they set dumpsters ablaze, forcing firefighters to intervene as flames threatened to spread. When police arrived, the mob formed aggressive lines, advancing on officers with makeshift shields fashioned from garbage can lids. Despite their bravado, law enforcement ultimately arrested 32 individuals, loading them into vans while the mob shrieked obscenities.
UW confirmed that those arrested face charges including “trespassing, property destruction, disorderly conduct, and conspiracy.” Yet, predictably, the liberal media will frame these criminals as “activists” fighting for “justice.” The King County Prosecutor’s Office told the Daily Caller News Foundation that misdemeanor charges are being processed, but don’t expect CNN or MSNBC to highlight the full extent of their crimes.
A Pattern of Left-Wing Extremism
This isn’t an isolated incident—UW has repeatedly caved to anti-Israel radicals. In May 2024, the university surrendered to illegal encampment leaders, agreeing to create a “Palestine” academic committee (funded by taxpayers). Months later, UW President Ana Mari Cauce’s home and car were vandalized with Hamas symbols. Yet, instead of condemning this extremism, the left-wing media sanitizes it, portraying violent agitators as noble dissidents.
