The story of Allan Poller and his alleged violent threats to an unnamed member of Congress over their stance on “the gays” is a prime example of the double standard regarding violent acts by individuals on the left.
Poller, a student at Keene State College, was charged with “transmitting in interstate commerce a threat to injure the person of another,” according to the Department of Justice press release. In the voicemail left to the representative, he said, “Hi, my name is Allan Poller, A-L-L-A-N P-O-L-L-E-R, phone number []8931. And I just want to let you know, Representative [Name], if you keep on coming for the gays, we’re gonna strike back and I guarantee you, you do not want to fuck with us. We will kill you if that’s what it takes. I will take a bullet to your fucking head if you fuck with my rights anymore. And then if you want to keep going down that path, you know who’s next.”
This is a clear and direct threat of violence, and yet there has been little to no coverage of it in the mainstream media. This double standard is especially evident when it comes to violent acts committed by individuals on the left. While any crime committed by someone on the right will be reported on and condemned, the same cannot be said for those on the left.
It’s important to note that this threat of violence was not an isolated incident. In recent years, we’ve seen a spike in violence from the left, ranging from threats of violence to actual physical attacks. From Antifa members attacking Trump supporters to Democratic politicians encouraging their supporters to confront Republicans in public, it’s clear that the left is not above using violence to get their way.

The silence from the media is very telling…
This double standard needs to end. All violent crimes should be reported on and condemned, regardless of the perpetrator’s political affiliation. Violent threats, such as the one made by Poller, should never be tolerated and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
