The Trump campaign’s South Bronx rally defied all expectations, proving to be a smashing success despite the dismal weather and doubts from the establishment media. With an estimated crowd of over 8,000 to 10,000 people, the event far exceeded predictions and showcased the former president’s continued popularity.
Initially, there were doubts about the rally’s attendance, with certain New York Congresswomen mocking the event and the media painting a picture of a sparsely-attended gathering. However, as CNN correspondent Kristen Holmes reported live from the rally, it became clear that the turnout was much larger than the Democrats would have liked to see in one of the bluest counties in the country.
What was interesting to note was that the Trump campaign had promised to target and attract people from the local community to attend the rally. Holmes, who has covered numerous Trump rallies, was surprised to find a significant number of attendees who were actually from the Bronx itself. This revelation dispelled the narrative that the only attendees were bussed in from other cities and states.
Even CBS News, as reported by conservative speaker Charlie Kirk, acknowledged that the rally had a diverse crowd that represented all of America. This observation further solidified the idea that the South Bronx community does care about Trump, contrary to the narrative pushed by Democrats and the media.

Of course, it is impossible to determine the exact breakdown of attendees from the Bronx and surrounding areas. However, the fact that such a large number of people showed up for a Republican candidate in a deeply Democratic state is telling. In the past, Trump had only won about 16% of the vote in the Bronx, but it appears that this election cycle, he has gained more support from Black and Hispanic voters.
This realignment of voter demographics is significant, as it shows that the traditional stronghold of the Democratic party is now up for grabs. Even Axios, a typically left-leaning news source, acknowledged that the Trump rally in the Bronx was a sign of this realignment happening within the two major political parties. The Democrats have gained more support from white suburbanites, while the Republican party is now attracting more minority voters than they have in the past.

“This rally did look a lot like America. There was a lot of Asian voters there. There were a lot of Hispanic voters, a lot of black voters there…”

This should be a wake-up call for Joe Biden and his administration, but it remains to be seen if they will acknowledge this shift in voter demographics. One thing is for sure, if even CNN has to admit this, then it is clear that the Democrats are in trouble.
