The Department of Justice (DOJ) has demonstrated its commitment to national security and the rule of law by terminating Carolyn Feinstein, a forensic accountant, after discovering her marriage to Joshua Aaron, the far-left activist behind the dangerous ICEBlock app. Feinstein, who had been working for the DOJ, was fired after an internal investigation revealed her lack of transparency regarding her ties to Aaron, whose app actively undermines ICE operations and endangers law enforcement officers.
Feinstein, however, has played the victim, claiming her termination was an act of “retribution” for her husband’s activism. “This was retribution. I was fired because of the actions, or activism, of my husband,” she whined to The Daily Beast. But the DOJ’s decision was justified—Feinstein failed to disclose critical information during an ethics review, proving she could not be trusted in a sensitive government role.
The ICEBlock app, promoted by leftist media like CNN, is designed to help illegal aliens evade ICE enforcement, directly obstructing justice and putting officers at risk. Border Czar Toman Homan rightly condemned the app, stating, “The DOJ’s looking at it, and they need to throw some people in jail.” Meanwhile, Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security, emphasized the app’s dangers, noting a 500% increase in assaults against ICE officers due to left-wing rhetoric and tools like ICEBlock.
“Our ICE enforcement officers are seeing a 500% increase in assaults against them,” McLaughlin told Fox News. “A lot of this is because politicians like AOC, like Governor Tim Walz, like Gavin Newsom, demonize our ICE enforcement officers and give them (criminals) free passes.”
The liberal media, particularly CNN, has shamelessly amplified Aaron’s app, further endangering law enforcement. DHS Chief Kristi Noem confirmed efforts to hold CNN accountable, stating she was working with the DOJ to potentially prosecute the network for promoting an app that incites violence against ICE agents.

President Donald Trump, a staunch defender of law and order, has repeatedly called out the left’s attacks on ICE and border security. His administration’s swift action against Feinstein proves that no one—especially a federal employee—can collude with those who seek to dismantle America’s immigration laws. While the left cries foul, the Trump administration remains steadfast in protecting those who protect our borders.
