The liberal media is up in arms over the so-called “inhumane” conditions at Florida’s new detention facility for criminal illegal aliens, dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz.” But for hardworking Americans who have suffered under the consequences of unchecked illegal immigration, the facility’s tough conditions are nothing short of poetic justice. Leamsy “La Figura” Izquierdo, a violent migrant detainee from Cuba, recently whined to NBC 6 South Florida about the harsh realities he and his fellow criminals face—and his complaints should be music to the ears of every patriot who supports President Donald Trump’s unwavering stance on law and order.
Izquierdo, a self-proclaimed “urban artist” who was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, lamented that he hasn’t had a shower in four days. “There is no water to bathe… it’s been four days since I last took a shower,” he complained. But for a man who allegedly threatened innocent lives, a few days without a hot shower is a small price to pay for the crimes he’s accused of committing.
His grievances didn’t stop there. He griped about being fed only once a day, claiming the food sometimes contains worms. “The food has worms in it sometimes,” he whined. Yet, in true Trumpian fashion, Florida’s leadership has made it clear: if you break the law, you shouldn’t expect luxury accommodations. Unlike the cushy, taxpayer-funded resorts that liberals want to build for illegal immigrants, Alligator Alcatraz ensures that criminals understand the consequences of their actions.

Izquierdo also moaned about the 24/7 detention lights, swarms of mosquitoes “the size of elephants,” and freezing tents—likely due to the facility’s powerful air conditioning combating Florida’s oppressive heat. But while the liberal media paints this as cruelty, conservatives see it as common sense. Why should violent offenders enjoy comforts that many law-abiding citizens don’t even have?
President Trump has long championed tough immigration policies, and facilities like Alligator Alcatraz send a clear message: America will no longer be a dumping ground for foreign criminals. If detainees like Izquierdo are so miserable, they always have the option to self-deport back to their home countries—something the Trump administration has repeatedly encouraged.
