He claimed that these individuals “had to step up and take that shot” in order to stop Trump from destroying America.
Despite being identified as a Democrat by the show’s host, Willie went on to say that he believes Trump’s actions have put the country in danger and that these assassination attempts were necessary. He even stated that, at the age of 83, he has nothing to lose.
Host John McArdle was taken aback by Willie’s statements and asked if he was advocating for violence. Willie quickly clarified that he was not promoting violence, but rather defending his country. This sentiment was echoed by a poll conducted by Napolitan News Service, which found that over a quarter of Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters believed that the United States would have been better off if Trump had been killed.
In the wake of Sunday’s assassination attempt, members of the Biden administration, including White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, have repeatedly painted Trump as a “threat to democracy.” This narrative has been echoed by other Democrats, such as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
When asked for comment, the Trump campaign referred the Daily Caller News Foundation to a post on Truth Social. In this post, Trump explains that the recent rise in political animosity and violence is a direct result of the “rhetoric, lies, and false statements” pushed by the left, as seen in the ABC debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and then-presidential candidate Biden.
According to Trump, this type of rhetoric and behavior has only escalated since the election, with the extreme measures taken to harm his presidency and the country. He even went so far as to call it “Communist Left Rhetoric” and stated that “the bullets are flying” and that it will only get worse unless something is done to stop it.

I have to wonder just how many drugs wee Willie’s on.
I guess the left isn’t convinced that they will win so have to take out the competition.
I fear that Harris will win and the USA that we know, and love, will cease to exist.
Isn’t this basically a threat on Trump’s life even if he doesn’t come out and say, “k*ll Trump”? People like him and those who support him should be locked up.
