In St. George, Utah, a manhunt concluded on Wednesday when a transgender double-murder suspect, Collin Troy Bailey, was captured after several hours of searching. Bailey, 28, was seen with his hands in the air as he surrendered to a group of heavily armed officers at around 10:30 a.m in a field. His arrest was in connection to the shooting deaths of a man and a woman at a home in nearby Washington City the previous evening.
Police initially responded to a call of shots fired at the victims’ home at approximately 7 p.m. Upon arrival, evidence was found linking Bailey to the murders, prompting a homicide investigation. However, authorities have not disclosed the specific details of the evidence found. It is still unclear if Bailey was living at the home or what his relationship was with the victims.

According to public records, the address where the victims were found is listed as Bailey’s home address. It appears that his parents, Gail Bailey, 69, and her husband Joseph, 70, also reside at the same address. However, this has not yet been confirmed by police.
As the search for Bailey continued, a shelter-in-place order was put in effect in the community while information was circulated about the suspect. Police described Bailey as a white individual, 5’10” tall, weighing 130 pounds with brown hair. They also alerted the public that Bailey is a transgender individual, currently transitioning from male to female, and goes by the name Mia. The suspect was considered dangerous and was believed to be armed.
Authorities also warned that Bailey frequently changes hairstyles and often wears wigs, making it difficult to identify the suspect. They also mentioned that he was believed to be driving a yellow 2014 Kia Sol with Utah license plates. Police advised residents to be vigilant and keep their doors locked while authorities searched for Bailey.
According to Lt. Kory Klotz of the Washington City Police Department, the search initially progressed slowly due to the darkness and heavy vegetation in the area. However, as residents awoke and began reporting sightings of the yellow car, police received a flood of information. Eventually, Bailey was apprehended in a field, surrounded by weeds and brush.
A video of the capture shows a fidgety Bailey at first, followed by him raising his hands in the air, kneeling and ultimately lying facedown on the ground with his hands cuffed. Officer Tiffany Mitchell of the St. George Police Department announced the good news on a Facebook Live video, stating that everyone was safe and the shelter-in-place order had been lifted.
The manhunt for the transgender double-murder suspect came to a successful conclusion and the community of St. George could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Wake up America!!! Transgenderism isn’t normal . It is a severe mental health disorder.
