Democratic Senator John Kennedy is known for his witty comebacks and ability to dismantle arguments with his deadpan delivery. In a recent interview on Fox News’ “The Story,” Kennedy quipped, “I’ve heard better answers on the dating game,” when discussing a Democrat colleague’s argument on transgender athletes in women’s sports. Kennedy is known for speaking sense in a folksy manner, something that is rare in today’s woke climate.
In another ad for his 2022 campaign, Kennedy called out President Biden for believing that the economy runs on “fairy dust and unicorn urine.” But on Wednesday, Kennedy outdid himself when he shredded a climate change “expert” with his expert questioning. Olympic skier Gus Schumacher was invited to testify on the “Nature of Climate Costs” because of his first-hand experience with the “profound alterations to our natural landscape” in his 23 years of life.
But Kennedy’s questioning exposed Schumacher’s lack of knowledge on the subject. When Kennedy asked him, “What is carbon dioxide?” Schumacher hesitated and admitted that he wasn’t a professional on the topic. Kennedy continued to prod him, asking, “You want us to abolish it, right?” to which Schumacher responded that carbon dioxide is a gas. When Kennedy asked if it was the major part of our atmosphere, Schumacher replied, “It’s a huge part of our atmosphere,” to which Kennedy rebutted, “It’s actually a very small part of the atmosphere.”
Democrats want to spend $50 TRILLION to become carbon neutral & held a hearing to tell us why.
Dem witness: Carbon dioxide is "a huge part of our atmosphere."
Me: "It’s actually a very small part of our atmosphere." (0.035%)

While the exchange was excruciating and cringeworthy, Kennedy maintained his composure throughout, keeping a straight face. Sitting next to Schumacher was Dr. Joao Gomes, an economist who appeared to have a hard time not laughing at the skier’s lack of knowledge. Social media users had a field day with Schumacher, with one user writing, “I just like playing in the snow and I noticed the snow wasn’t so snowy anymore,” poking fun at the athlete’s testimony.

The entire spectacle displayed the desperation of Democratic senators to prove that climate change is real and requires immediate action, even if it means scraping the bottom of the barrel for “experts.” Schumacher’s testimony about the dramatic effects of climate change was dubious at best, as he cited less-than-optimal skiing conditions as evidence. But Kennedy was not fooled and exposed Schumacher’s ignorance on the subject, almost effortlessly.
Senator, don't be so hard on him.
It's not his fault he grew up on TikTok.— CoCa827 (@CCa827) March 21, 2024
The exchange between Kennedy and Schumacher serves as a stark reminder of the lack of critical thinking and expertise in the current climate change narrative. Instead of relying on experts and scientific evidence, politicians like Schumacher are paraded around to push a certain agenda. But as Kennedy showed, true knowledge and common sense will always win in the end. And while his quips may be humorous, his message is clear: it’s time to start thinking critically and not be swayed by baseless claims and emotional appeals.
Yeah, well I didn’t know anyone would ask ME questions, ’cause I are an expert an Global Climate Warming Change, and you’re only a Denier senator.
Schumacher is just an ignorant part of the carbon clown show. Carbon is sued by plant life for food and in doing so they emit oxygen which is used by us and other animals to live. without it you’re history, clown. The clown show went from Al Gore’s global warming comedy of Florida will be underwater by 2000 which was phony to the carbon debacle solely for the NWO/WF garbage to grab complete control over the planet. So, clown, your argument has been proven to be nothing but ignorance.
just another know nothing douche bag, like that little no nothing whiner, greta.
