In a recent CNN broadcast, anchor Kasie Hunt drew attention with her remarks about the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. She labeled it as a “massive failure by the Secret Service.” This led to an engaging conversation where panelist Elliott Williams hinted at the possibility of an “inside job.” However, Hunt swiftly dismissed this idea, saying, “we don’t want to get into that.”
Hunt’s decision to steer clear of speculation about an inside job could have been based on journalistic ethics. However, it’s essential to highlight the apparent double standards of CNN and other left-leaning media outlets.
These media organizations often emphasize the significance of accurate and verified information. Yet, they seem more than willing to accept unverified reports if they align with their narrative. A glaring example is the Russia collusion story, propagated by CNN and others for years without concrete evidence. The recent debunked report about Russian bounties on US troops serves as another example where mainstream media widely covered a story despite lacking sufficient proof.
It’s worth noting that no CNN panelists defended Trump during this discussion. The panel was made up of Democratic operatives and Never Trumpers, including Karen Finney, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign spokesperson, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former Trump staffer who has since become a critic. The lack of diverse viewpoints reveals CNN’s inherent bias and reluctance to provide balanced analysis.
The willingness of liberal media to suppress any discussion about an inside job related to Trump’s assassination attempt is predictable. Their goal is to control the narrative and divert attention from potential vulnerabilities within the Secret Service or its leadership.
As citizens, we should demand transparency and accountability. We have the right to question and investigate all possibilities, particularly when it involves the safety of our elected officials. It’s worth noting that the media had no issues speculating and spreading conspiracy theories about the January 6th Capitol riot, so why are they so eager to silence any discussion about an inside job involving Trump?
Williams also highlighted an important point about the role of social media in disseminating misinformation. Yet, once again, the media overlooked a crucial fact: the primary source of hate speech and disinformation wasn’t Trump supporters but Democrats and their followers who openly joked about the failed assassination attempt. This selective outrage is a recurring pattern in liberal media, and it’s high time we hold them accountable.
In times like these, it’s important that we unite as a nation and demand truth and transparency. We should not let the media suppress valid discussions and concerns.
CNN is IN On shooting right
Why you people even worried about CNN they’re not even a real news station
“We don’t want to get into that” she says which is true on their part because it would demonstrate just how crooked they are also.
