A radical Islamic cleric has been secretly spewing venomous hate speech against the West, calling for a war against the “infidel” America from the comfort of his Michigan mosque. Ahmad Musa Jibril, a convicted felon, has used social media and messaging platforms to incite his followers to wage jihad against the United States and its allies.
In a recent video uploaded to X and Telegram accounts associated with him, Jubril declared that Muslims should declare jihad against the United States, describing it as a “vicious enemy of the Muslims.” He also referred to Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, as a “dog” for President Joe Biden. Jubril urged his followers to make jihad a common term on social media, in mosques, and in their everyday lives.
The extremist imam also lashed out at leaders of Arab nations who have replaced sharia law with Western systems of government. According to Jubril, these leaders have become “loyal to the enemies of Allah.” He urged Muslims living in the West to raise their children as combatants against the perceived enemies, saying, “If you can’t raise your child telling him you want him to grow up to be a Mujāhid and Shahīd, then you’re the root of the problem!”
Jubril has a history of extremist views and actions. He has spent nearly seven years in federal prison for financial crimes, possession of firearms, and ammunition as a convicted felon. Experts are now warning of a possible resurgence of jihadist ideology amid the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, particularly the recent tensions between Israel and Palestine.
