Watch: Liberal Pollster Says The Quiet Part About Harris Out Loud

Democratic pollster Cornell Belcher believes that Vice President Kamala Harris should continue to avoid sit-down interviews with the press, instead focusing on “talking to the voters” in the lead up to the upcoming debates. Belcher’s stance was made clear during an interview on NBC News Sunday, where he pushed back against PBS’s Amna Nawaz after she suggested that Harris should engage with the media and answer difficult questions.

Nawaz pointed to Harris’ strong debating skills, which were evident during the Democratic Primary process. She also mentioned the importance of interviews in allowing candidates to face skepticism and tough questions about issues they may not have brought up on the campaign trail. However, Belcher dismissed Nawaz’s arguments, stating that Harris should be on the ground speaking directly to registered voters and not wasting her time with the press.

“I will just say, having been with Vice President Harris in unscripted scenarios, there’s policy command there that can come out in these kind of interviews,” Nawaz said.

But Belcher jumped in to disagree with Nawaz, saying “Can I say that I love you, and I love you, but as a campaign hack, no. She should be talking to the voters and barnstorming the way they do. Again, I say, I love you all, but I don’t want her talking to you all right now, she should be talking to [registered] voters and going across the country.”

The fact that Harris has yet to participate in any sit-down interviews since becoming the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee has raised concerns and sparked speculation about her reluctance to face unscripted questions. Instead, her campaign spokespeople have been the ones speaking to the media on her behalf. This has led to questions about Harris’ readiness and willingness to engage with the press.

Furthermore, with the first debate between Harris and former President Donald Trump coming up on Sept. 10, it is alarming that she has not confirmed any dates for additional debates proposed by Trump. He has challenged her to two more debates, one on Fox News on Sept. 4 and one on NBC News on Sept. 25. However, Harris has not yet confirmed her participation in these debates, raising doubts about her ability to stand up to Trump and defend her policies on the national stage.

In addition to her lack of media appearances, Harris’ campaign has also failed to publish an official policy platform on their website. This raises concerns about her stance on important issues and her ability to lead the country if she were to become vice president or even president in the future.

Watch

Harris’ aversion to unscripted interviews and lack of a clear policy platform are concerning and raise questions about her readiness for the vice presidency. She should not shy away from facing tough questions from the press and the public, as it is a crucial part of the democratic process and allows voters to make informed decisions. Harris must step up and engage with the media and the American people in order to prove herself as a strong and capable leader.

  • The simple fact that the dem party is running harris for the position of POTUS says a lot about how hollow/shallow and out of touch the party has become. The dem party has NOTHING to run on. Everything the dems did turned to crap. They will solely rely on voter fraud and low information voters to install kamala into a position she has no business holding.
