Donald Trump has made no secret of his presidential ambitions, but he certainly drew a line in the sand when Ron DeSantis threw his hat into the ring. And he didn’t hold back when it came to making his thoughts on the Florida Governor’s campaign clear.
Trump welcomed DeSantis to the Republican presidential race with a series of increasingly hilarious posts on his various social media channels. Trump posted a video attacking DeSantis as an ingrate who owes his career to Trump. Trump posted another of what appears to be a SpaceX rocket falling over and exploding with “Ron! 2024” over it.
To top it all off, Trump shared a weird video mocking DeSantis’ recent entry into the presidential race via a glitchy Twitter event hosted by Elon Musk. The video features not only Musk and DeSantis, but Adolf Hitler, the devil, a coughing Dick Cheney, billionaire George Soros, and an FBI agent openly plotting to “take out” Trump. A rocking, robotic “Trump” voice then finishes off the video with a few insults.
Trump took things a step further by posting several more insults against DeSantis on his Truth Social website, including a comparison of nuclear launch buttons. Despite the heavy attack against DeSantis, Trump still predicted that his DeSantis’ whole campaign would be a disaster.

Polls initially showed DeSantis catching up to the former President, but more recent polls show the Florida governor is now down by double digits in the polls. DeSantis’ presidential campaign announcement also started off on a bad note, as Twitter’s mobile app crashed multiple times and people couldn’t hear the broadcast.
All of this fiery activity is surely a sign that Trump is ready to battle for the GOP ticket. And regardless of who ends up getting it, the voters will win in the end.
WE DONT need this infighting OK
Save it for the RINOs, Dems, Radicals, & celebs OK
President Trump,
I have to tell you, this name calling you constantly do is getting old. I believe if you keep that up, you will turn voters away. It is also very childish, unbecoming a past President of the United States.
