Watch: Tim Scott Forced Hosts On ‘The View’ To Eat Their Words, Face two Face Standoff

Senator Tim Scott was invited to ABC’s The View, a program that had criticized his views on race relations in the past. Before his appearance, Scott sent out an e-mail to his supporters, stating, “After co-host Whoopi Goldberg said I have ‘Clarence Thomas syndrome’ as a Black Republican AND after co-host Joy Behar said I’m a Republican because I ‘don’t get’ the idea of racism, I’m sure it’s going to be exciting television!”

South Carolina senator Tim Scott wasted no time confronting the racism he had seen on the show. Hostin tried to lead the conversation, but Scott immediately cut in, “One of the reasons I’m on this show is because of the comments made frankly on this show that the only way for a young African American kid to be successful in this country is to be the exception and not the rule.”

Scott continued to explain the dangerous message the show had sent to minority viewers. “That’s a dangerous, offensive, disgusting message to send our young people today,” he noted, referencing the progress made in the African American community. “We’ve had an African American President, African American Vice President, two African Americans to be secretaries of the state. In my home city, the police chief is an African American who’s now running for mayor. The head of the highway patrol for South Carolina is an African American.”

Whoopi Goldberg tried to steer the conversation, claiming Republicans were trying to drag American race relations back. Scott shot down this concept, noting, “Racism is an issue of the heart. It’s not Republicans or Democrats. I think humans have these issues.” The Senator continued, encouraging people to focus on the progress the nation has made. “Just change the stations, and see how much progress has been made in this country. ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, CNN, Fox News, all have African American and Hispanic hosts. So, what I’m suggesting is that the yesterday’s exception is today’s rule.”

Ana Navarro jumped in, questioning the small minority of African Americans in Congress. Scott had an answer to this as well. He noted, “We’ve had about half of all the African Americans who’ve ever served in the U.S. Senate in the last eight, nine years – which means that this nation is making measurable progress in real-time.” To Hostin’s instant disagreement, the senator concluded his point by saying, “Frankly, both sides of the aisle can do a better job on the issue of race. And frankly, my side of the aisle I think is doing a fabulous job of making progress.”

  • Thank you, Tim Scott, nicely done. Drop out of the Presidential race for the RINO Party (Republicans that are really Democrats) and support Trump and the MAGA Party (American people). America is a ONE-party system now consisting of Deep State/Democrats/RINOs. God says he is bringing his David back.
